The many hats of content marketing

Project manager

From the moment clients signed along the dotted line, to final reporting, Pris managed the delivery of client campaigns at SmartCompany and The Mandarin. This included overseeing schedules and ensuring specialists from multiple departments were on the same page.

Email campaign manager

Pris can write and edit basic Javascript, which allowed me to build and repair emails, newsletters, eDMs and soluses (and other web based products). Combined with graphic design capabilities and copy-editing experience, she streamlined the process.

Writer and editor

Whether it was for The Mandarin’s audience (the Australian public sector) or SmartCompany’s (owners of small businesses and startups), Pris wrote and edited articles and ebooks for a wide range of clients, incorporating SEO optimisation and audience engagement.

Event organiser

While working for SmartCompany and The Mandarin, both publications held free co-branded events with clients and sponsors. With the team, she organised venues and logistics, manned the welcome desks, wrote invitations and feedback forms, and managed invite lists.

Multimedia producer

This covers everything from headshots, video and audio editing, and commercial graphic design. Pris created these media to be embedded into articles and emails, and as standalone promotions for either social media awareness campaigns or as traffic drivers.

Data analyst

During each campaign, she monitored overall trends, and the performance of each deliverable. By doing this, the team understood when and how to optimise each item to ensure the campaign performed well by the time we provided the end-of-campaign report to the client.
